Chris Major
Founding Partner
Chris is responsible for identifying investment opportunities, assessing strategic fit within the portfolio, and supporting growth-related operational initiatives. A serial entrepreneur with over 20 years of bioprocessing experience, he has deep expertise across upstream and downstream technologies. Prior to BioProcess360, he founded and led the Purolite Bioprocessing division, growing it from zero revenue in 2015 to $80M in six years. The business was acquired by Ecolab (NYSE: ECL) in 2021 for $3.7BN. Earlier, Chris helped pioneer single-use technology at WAVE Bioreactors, later acquired by GE Healthcare (now Cytiva), and held senior roles at GE and Merck Millipore. He holds an MSc in Biotechnology and attended Harvard Business School. Outside work, Chris enjoys biking, paddleboarding, live music, and spending time with his two daughters.

Brad Beatty
Founding Partner
Brad is Chief Investment Officer at Rabbit Run Partners, where he leads investment strategy across multiple asset classes and helps portfolio companies scale. He combines financial expertise with operational insight, serving as CIO and board member for a range of growth-stage businesses. Brad began his career at KKR-backed Primedia and most recently held the CIO role at Sirius Partners, where he led investments across various industries. His experience spans early-stage ventures to mature businesses. Brad holds a BA with honors in History from Northwestern University, a JD from the Pritzker School of Law, and an MBA with honors from the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago. He is also a CFA charterholder and brings a disciplined, high-impact approach to investment and leadership.

Dr. Patrick Gilbert
Chief Operating Officer
Pat brings over a decade of bioprocessing experience with a strong focus on downstream purification and the development of chromatography media. Prior to joining BioProcess360, he led the technical delivery of the Purolite Bioprocessing resin platform from proof of concept to commercialisation, contributing to the launch of over 30 globally used products. Pat has worked with startups, CMOs, large pharmaceutical manufacturers, and vendors to deliver custom and OEM solutions. In addition to his technical leadership, he has hands-on experience with Quality, Regulatory, and Supply systems, including QMS implementation, ERP rollout, regulatory documentation, and facility commissioning. Pat holds a PhD in Materials Chemistry from the University of London and a Master of Science in Chemistry. His broad expertise bridges innovation and industrialisation.

Steve Tingley
Commercial Strategy Business Consultant
Steve brings over 40 years of commercial leadership in the bioprocessing industry, supporting companies in launching novel technologies and executing go-to-market strategies. He has held senior roles at global life science leaders including Repligen and Millipore, with a focus on biopharma and biotech markets. Steve’s experience spans sales, marketing, product management, and business development, working with both multinationals and fast-moving startups. He has introduced innovative technologies globally and built high-performing commercial teams. Steve also brings significant expertise in M&A, due diligence, and strategic customer engagement. He holds a BSc (Hons) in Pharmacology and maintains an extensive global network across key sectors. Steve is a trusted advisor known for delivering commercial impact.
